Carolyn Jensen Obituary
Carolyn Thomassen Jensen, 78, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away December 24, 2011.
Carolyn was born September 12, 1933 to Verdon Robbins Thomassen and Thyra Caroline Dugdale in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Stanley LeRoy Gehring on November 24, 1951. They were divorced. She married Duane H. Jensen on October 16, 1965 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Carolyn was an Avon representative for 35 years and earned several top seller awards. She loved doing family history, sewing, knitting and ceramics.
Mom is survived by two daughters, Susan (Andrew) LaTomme, North Bend OR.; Kariann (Jeremy) Wolfe, West Valley City and a son, Duane Mark Jensen, Salt Lake City; one brother, Michael (Bonnie) Leiser, Portland, OR; ten grandchildren, Matthew, David & Amy LaTomme, Sara, Lindsea, Ryan, Caleb, Alex, Madison and Jayce Wolfe; six great-grandchildren, Hannah, Colin, Zachery, Jaden, Andrew and Korbin LaTomme.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane H. Jensen and grandson, Ryan LaTomme.
A viewing will be held Thursday evening, December 29, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT. Funeral services will be held on Friday morning, December 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riviera LDS Ward Chapel, 601 E. Mansfield Ave., (3115 South) SLC, UT. Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Estates.

Dear Kariann and Mark, I am sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I am sorry to say that we lost touch with each other when I moved to Arizona with my Daughter and her family. I knew your mother for many years, meeting her as an Avon lady. She was a sweet and giving woman and I enjoyed knowing her as not only the Avon lady, but also as a friend.
