Mitsakopoulos, Carole (nee Gialamas), beloved wife of Jack, loving mother of Theodore (Liz) Mitsakopoulos, proud grandmother of Elle, dear sister of Joanne (Perry) Manos, Penny (Dr. George) Korkos, George (Candy) Gialamas and the late Mary Ellen (Peter) Kotsos, sister-in-law of Penny (the late Thomas) Patros and Helen (Robert) Silberman, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Family and friends will meet Saturday morning, at S.S. Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 1401 Wagner Rd., (at Lake Ave.), Glenview, for funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial donations to Annunciation Cathedral, 1017 N. Aunt Carole was always filled with energy and zest for life. She loved to share the secrets of homemaking, gardening, decorating and took pride in upholding the highest degree of spotlessness. What I believe all of us will miss most is her comedic personality and candor. I will miss her dearly.
