Forgive me for my late entry--I did not know of Carole joining our Lord in March. I met Carole at the UofC working together to "save the world"--our friendship continued on after both of us leaving. She was such a wonderful, caring woman--although I have never met any of you I feel like I know all of you from the wonderful things Carole shared with me about her family and friends. I have been trying to call her for a few months and by chance today tried the obituaries since Carole and I talked every couple of months. My deepest condolences to all of you. Carole is truly an angel. I will miss her but so grateful to have known her.

My condolences to Ronni, Frankie and the rest of the family and friends of Carole who loved her so much. I remember when she was a preppy little grammar school girl with flaming red hair and, when she was a postulant at St. Xav's, visiting her with the rest of Char and Themis' wedding party. I last saw her St. Patrick's Day a few years ago and we had a lot of laughs. I was glad she was happy with Robert. Gosh the years have flown by. I know she will be missed by many.

I would like to send our heartfelt sympathies to the Dolan family on the death of your sister Carole. Although our families have known one another, we were not introduced to Carole until this past January, while dining at Gene and Georgetti's. All the Barrys were sitting at a table next to Carole celebrating Moggie's 50th birthday and chatting about Long Beach. Carole came over and introduced herself to us! We had a few laughs and she told us about the play for Mayor Daley. My Dad was even with us all the way from Montana. We really enjoyed her company for that short time. We are so sorry for your loss.

I was in the Novitiate of the Sisters of Mercy with Carole back in the 1960's. Over the years I would periodically talk on the phone with her---so many memories of a time in our lives that shaped both of us in profound ways, but with Carole, there was so much laughter. She was such a special person, and would remember things I had long forgotten. Clearly, a part of her never quite left the Sisters of Mercy---I hope she knows that part of her lives on in many of us as well! I will miss the possibility of thinking that some day we would meet and talk for hours---BUT MAYBE SOME DAY WE WILL! She had a heart of gold, and will be missed.

My sincerest condolences to all of the Dolans on Carole's passing. In the last few years, Carole and I enjoyed many conversations about the good times at Tommy More and McAuley. She had an infallible memory and was a witty storyteller. Blessed with kindness and open-heartedness, she will truly be missed. God bless you, Carole with an "e." I will never forget your inimitable laugh.

Carole and I often talked about meeting for lunch but never quite made it. I'll miss her reminding me of what we were doing on such and such a date in the 50's. And whenever we talked she always thanked me for taking her to Riverview when we were in eighth grade. God bless you, Carole.
