Solomon, Carol (nee Simon), 85, beloved wife of Jerry Solomon, loving mother of James (Heidi) Solomon, Judith (David) Maley, and Robert (Cathy) Solomon, cherished grandmother of Matthew Solomon, Lauren, Michael and Jenn Maley and Amy and Julie Solomon. Memorial Service Monday, 10:00 a.m. at K.A.M. Isaiah Israel Congregation, 1100 East Hyde Park Blvd., Hyde Park, IL 60615. In lieu of flowers, contributions to K.A.M. DEAR JERRY--JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW I AM THINKING OF YOU AT THIS TIME. I AM SO HAPPY THAT I WAS ABLE TO SPEAK WITH CAROL WHEN I WAS IN SARASOTA LAST JANUARY.SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME HOW FOND THEY WERE OF CAROL. I CAN STILL REMEMBER PLAYING WITH HER WHEN SHE WAS VISITING THE COOKS, WHO WERE OUR NEIGHBORS.
I KNOW STEVIE JOINS ME IN HOPING THAT YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN WILL BE SUSTAINED BY THE WONDERFUL YEARS YOU ALL ENJOYED WITH CAROL--REGARDS, CAROL WINSTON

Jerry and family,
I was so saddened to hear of Carol's death. Although Goldijean and I knew her only from our weekly outings to Gary's Beauty Shop, I can tell that she was liked and admired by all at the Shop. May pleasant memories sustain you during this difficult time.
