I was "remembering when" with friends and sadly found Carol's obituary on the internet. Although many years have passed since we enjoyed our wild times at the University of Illinois at Chicago in the '70s, I remember Carol fondly and with a smile in my heart. May she rest in peace.

Dear Family,
I am an old friend of Carol's from high school and was trying to find her to attend our 40th reunion in May. I was deeply saddened to find that she is gone. I am glad to see that she had such a loving family.
I have many happy memories of Carol - she was so much fun and a great friend. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Dear Miss Lazaroff,
I'm sorry we missed the funeral mass, my mom and I really wanted to go. I'm really, really, really sorry for your loss.
Your REP student, Ethan Krammer
P.S. My mom was the OLOW bereavement minister for your mom when your grandmother passed away. She told me what a sweet, loving person your mom was. My mom is very sad for your loss, too.

My deepest condolences to the Lazaroff family. Carol was my colleague, advisor and friend. The knowledge she gave to me was immeasurable, and the college has lost one of its' most hard-working, valuable employees. God Bless You, My Friend...You will be missed by all of us whose lives you touched.

Felix,
It is with great surprise and sadness that I read of Carol's passing. I remember fondly the great times we had in college and catching Carol's garter at your wedding.
May God hold you and your family in the palm of His hand and give you peace.
