Carol Honn Obituary

Honn, Carol

Carol Honn, 79, passed away on June 22, 2025, after a brave 6-month battle with pancreatic cancer. Born October 8, 1945, to Edward Lenkowski and Sophie Gaik, Carol was extremely patriotic, a die-hard Cubs fan, and most importantly, a loving mother and grandmother whose kindness touched all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Edward, and grandson, Vincent. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Stephen. Carol's strength inspired her family's commitment to pancreatic cancer awareness, supporting the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th, 2025, at 11:30am at St. Daniel the Prophet Church located at 5300 S. Natoma Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Justice, IL. Visitation for Carol will be on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638.
