Carmen Cacciottolo Obituary

Cacciottolo, Carmen J. 86, of Palos Park, formerly of Chicago. Beloved Husband of 66 years to Concetta (D'Ambrosio); loving father of James, Albert, and Mary Ann (Jerry) Hurckes; cherished grandpa of Kristin (Kevin) Jeziorny, Anthony (Meghan), Connor, Jenna Hurckes, and the late Megan Hurckes; great-grandpa to Amelia and Giuliana; devoted son of the late James and Angeline (Ruggerio); loving brother of Ann Marie (the late Dominic) Jurasich; fond brother-in-law of Louis (Shirley), and the late Anthony D'Ambrosio; dear uncle of Walter (Karen) Jurasich. Carmen was a proud Korean War Veteran, receiving three medals for his service to our country. Carmen was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Holy Family Assembly #2255, Argo Summit American Legion Post #735, and a retired member of the Litho Stripper Union. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Orland Funeral Home, located at 9900 West 143rd Street, (143rd and Southwest Highway) from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Friday, December 28, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. from Orland Funeral Home to Sacred Heart Church, 8245 West 111th Street, Palos Hills, 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Megan Hurckes Scholarship Fund, 7036 West 96th Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453 are appreciated.
