Carmen Bertucci Obituary

I am not sure what made me search the Bertucci Family. Probably something on FB jogged a memory. I was so sorry to read of Carmen's passing. He was always very kind to me and he had a great laugh! I will keep him and the whole Bertucci family in my prayers.

I was deeply saddened when I heard that Carmie passed away. He was a great guy who was welcoming to everyone. He was my friend, and I will miss him.

He had a love for life and made sure others enjoyed time spent with him. He was truly one of a kind and I was happy to have known him, he was a man of faith and he loved his family. May all the loving memories that you have of him help you during this most difficult time and bring you peace and laughter when remembering him.

I met Mr Bertucci after I moved in next door almost 2 years ago. Somehow he got the idea that my name was Doug and I never corrected him. We ended up talking quite a lot, and soon we became friends. Well, a couple of months went by, and I felt very bad that he didn't know my real name. Even more time went by and I thought he would think I was a real jerk for not telling him since we were friends. I finally got up the nerve to tell him and he burst out laughing. His family thought it was pretty funny too. After that I would occasionally meet a complete stranger on the street, and they would enthusiastically say, hello Hugh!!

It was a lot of fun.

I am so sad to hear of Carmen's passing. He was a light in our life for most of my childhood and growing up years. We had such fun with him growing up and he was always the life of our parties and sleepovers. He wasn't just a friend he was family and he will be missed dearly.
