Carl Wayne Isreal, 65, of Perryville died June 12, 2018 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.
He was born July 3, 1952 in Gideon, MO, son of J. B. and Leslie H. (Strickland) Isreal. He and Diane M. Null were married on June 20, 1992. She survives in Perryville, MO.
Carl Wayne was a truck driver and he loved to fish, hunt and was an all-around handyman.
Other survivors include one son and one daughter, David Isreal and Lisa (John) Richards all of Perryville, three step daughters and one step son, Lisa (Greg) Smith, Lynnette (Mark) Berkbuegler both of Perryville, Tommy (Liz) Brewer of Greentown, IN and Julie (Brad Wichern) Brown of Perryville, two brothers and one sister, James (Glenda) Isreal of Sedgewickville, Shirley (Lee) Miller of Nixa, MO, Ronnie (Sherry) Isreal of Perryville, six grandchildren, fifteen step grandchildren, four great grandchildren and thirteen step great grandchildren. He was known to all of his grandchildren as “Gpa Santa.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, one step son, Craig Charles Brewer, one sister, Mary Katherine Griffard and one granddaughter, Danielle Jones.
Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Saturday, June 16 from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at the funeral home at 12:00 noon with Rev. Don Estes officiating.
Memorials are preferred St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
