Caral O'Hara Obituary

O’Hara, Caral Esther (Herbert) Age 72; of Edmore, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland, MI. Caral was born October 20, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of William and Ruth (Sheer) Herbert. She was raised in Detroit and graduated from Pershing High School, Class of 1961. She married Richard O’Hara on June 10, 1967 in Detroit at the Cross of Glory Lutheran Church. They spent forty-one years together until his passing on September, 14, 2008. Caral furthered her education by receiving her RN Degree from Montcalm Community College School of Nursing. Caral was employed by Metron of Greenville, Pathways Masonic Home of Alma, Fulton Medical of Greenville, and Alma Hospital. Caral enjoyed making candy and Amish Friendship Bread, crocheting, and crafts for grandchildren, shopping with friends, going out for dinner, and she enjoyed being a Nurse. Caral is survived in death by three children Kimberly (Richard) Daniels of Six Lakes, Kelley O’Hara of Edmore, and Patrick O’Hara of Georgetown, Indiana; grandchildren Melody Brasseur, Miranda and Madelyn Crittenden, Sinora O’Hara, Ashlea and Brenton Mott, Richard Cochran, Shanda and Shyann Daniels; her mother-in-law Orpha O’Hara of Sterling Heights; and friends. Caral was preceded in death by her husband Richard O’Hara; and her parents William and Ruth Herbert. Funeral Services for Caral will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore, MI. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 12 Noon to 2:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family.
