I was reminded today of your loss and I miss your beautiful smile. My house has your pictures to view always. Remember climbing in Italy those multitude of stairs a second time to come and make sure I was ok. It'll never be forgotten. Your name is on my lips when I pray for you everyday and night. I realized it's been 15 years since Cameron's passing. But,for some reason tonight as I was sitting on my couch watching TV , he came into my thoughts. I'm presently going through a divorce and, I also lost 2 siblings in the last 5 months. I've been asking God to send me an angel to help me through the emotional weight that I'm carrying. I think by prayers have been answered. I suddenly feel a burden has been lifted. God bless you, Cameron. You will never be forgotten. Till we meet again, brother.

Why am I here, re-reading and adding to your guestbook? It's because I'm reminded nearly every day that I cannot see you. It's been six months that you are at peace and I treasure that you were a part of my family. Keep coming to my dreams; it makes me sad but also happy. Your heart was in the gym, like all of us. Can't quite express how trudgingly difficult it was for everyone down in the weight room to embrace the fact that you are gone. Though, unlike most of us, you have lived your live happily and without regrets. For all of those sorrow-filled souls out there reading this entry, remember this: Letum est tantum exordium.

I was fortunate enough to meet Cameron through the Fermins and he always had a good word to say. One of the things I think I'll remember most is his willingness to laugh at himself over the grief I'd always give him about being in perfect shape. His ability to laugh at himself truly showed his character: confident, comfortable, and friendly. I'm honored to have met him and while he may be gone, the memories never will fade. Godspeed Cam.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Cameron was indeed a good man. While I did not actively keep in touch with Cameron over the years, I have very specific fond memories of him. He always smiled. Tonight, I prayed for Cameron, his family, and his friends. My heart and love goes out to you.

My heart goes out to Neil & the rest of the Karshna family... It'd been 13 years since Jansson, Cameron & I were attached at the hip while playing football at Aurora University, but the memories of our good times still pass through my head... more so in the past few days...

My deepest sympathies to Cameron's family, I am so so very sorry for your loss. I was fortunate enough to have met him when he came to Louisiana for my sister & brother-in-law's(Jansson Wurster) baby shower last summer. He was such a nice person, my two small children loved him and enjoyed his company very much, they had a great time playing with him all weekend and he was such a sweetheart to them. He was the kind of person that even if you have only met them once in your life you will never forget them. May his memory live forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My heartfelt sympathy for the family of Cameron, as well as his department family. I met Cameron years ago while he was installing a security system in our courthouse. He was a wonderful man that always could bring a smile to my face, as well as many others. Kind and warm is how I will remember him. He was a great friend and will be missed by many. He was always about family and friends.
He will be so missed.

Cameron – you came into Carena’s life when you were both 18.
You learned to be a part of our large Italian family both in Chicago and Italy.
We have shared much over the years; joy, laughter, sadness but most of all LOVE.

Your heart was always big; you were always willing to help out and always had that wonderful smile that will be so missed.

Now, we’ll have your memories:
• You laying out in the back yard to worship the sun,
• Watching you play with young cousins and giving them horsey back rides,
• Our first trip to Italy and you climbing the multitude of steps – twice- at the
Vatican to find me because I had fallen behind and you thought I was lost.
• Going to you Police Academy graduation and feeling honored and proud
to be a part of that celebration that brought you to the work you cherished.
• Sharing the same birthday as my dad and brother – 3 Gemini’s in one place, wow!
• Putting up with Prada jumping all over you, oh and so many more that I will
cherish.

Yes, son we will be lost without you, but I know in my heart that you’ll be our angel
watching and guiding your family and our family forever.
