Calvin Arthur Obituary
Gretna……Calvin Wayne Arthur, age 53 of Gretna died Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born January 27, 1966 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Catherine “Susie” Arthur Reynolds and husband, Thomas of Sandy Level and the late Gerald Calvin Arthur. He was predeceased by a sister, Greta Sue Arthur. Mr. Arthur was the owner/operator of Calvin Arthur Vinyl Siding. He enjoyed carpentry, hunting, fishing, and working on cars.
In addition to his mother he is survived by two daughters, Chance Arthur of Hurt, and Chase Arthur of Hurt; one brother, Anthony Reynolds of Richmond; his former wife, Cherie Arthur of Hurt; and two grandchildren, Paislee Neal and Camden Arthur.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Jason Andrews. Burial will follow in the Arthur Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
