Taylor, Bud age 78, 101st Airborne Division Korean War Veteran, beloved husband of Patricia (nee Keane), dear brother of John (Maxine), the late Olin (Jeannie) and the late Harvey (the late Josephine), also nieces and nephews, cherished cousin of Elizabeth McMahon. Funeral Monday 9:15 a.m. from Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Fr Quinn said it right: Lord, this Bud's for You ! He was a fighter and simply knew then the time came to surrender. My first contact when I landed in the Chicago area. Always ready to help, never shy of words.
I would not be surprised if he'd publish another novel up there or entertain some of those winged creatures. A good friend one will remember forever !

Pat, we are so sorry and saddened by the news. God Bless Bud! What a character is was and still is in our minds and hearts. I am sure he has a roomful of listeners while he is telling his jokes up in heaven!
