April 4, 2011

To the Brown family, Mrs. Clarice Brown and my childhood pals from Iota Phi Lambda days Babette and Jocelyn: I extend my deepest and most sincere sympathy to you at the passing of Mr. Brown. I recall meeting him and your family years ago at a convention. My heart aches for you at this time. I empathize with your family since I too lost my mother on January 21, 2011. I pray that the Lord will comfort you and that the Holy Spirit will provide that peace that passeth all understanding.

Sincerely,
Alan V. Poulson

To Clarice Brown & Family,

I just learned of Bud's passing today (Monday), and wish to express my deepest prayers and sympathies to you. I remember Bud as a wonderful man, who was always cheerful, positive, and friendly (especially when he had a round of golf to look forward to!). Along with you, Clarice, a great family developed and evolved, and serves as a living reminder of the impact of your 64-year marriage. May Bud rest in peace with God forever, and may you remain encouraged and comforted by your strong faith.

In Christ,
Fr. Dave Straub
