I couldn´t say enough wonderful things about this man. He was sweet and kind and funny and generous and wrote me letters and we only met on a few baseball tours. The first time we met I was getting dropped off in kind of a beat up old limo because my friend was getting rid of it so he wanted company so he drove me from ny to Florida. Bruce told me a few days later something like ohhh I was wondering who this guy was. I don´t want to say big shot because I don´t recall. It´s not just an expression to say my life isn´t as bright without hearing from him.

We met on a Jay Buckley baseball tour and I couldn´t say enough nice things about this gentleman and my life would possibly be much better today if I was still receiving his letters or baseball cards or getting together possibly.

i met Bruce on Jay Buckley's baseball tours, at least two or three of them, he would mail me 50 baseball cards or so at a time, or we send me nice postcards, i feel like i've known him for years, one of the closest friends i've ever had, i wish we spoke this year, what an extraordinarily great guy, we love you Bruce. We met Bruce thru Jay Buckley baseball tours. We always had a great time with Bruce. We did show tours with Bruce and traveled to Calafornia and New York together and had fun times.
We will miss Bruce. We are sure he is watching all the baseball greats in heaven.
Our sympathy to his wife and childern.
Sincerely,
Bruce & Karen Nordstrom, La Crosse Wisconsin

My condolences go out to Bruce's family. I have not seen Bruce in many, many years but I still remember him fondly and often wondered how he was doing. We both went our separate ways after our divorce but at least we were not bitter. Bruce was a wonderful man
