I just saw this on 3/4/22 while looking at the letter you sent me after you invited me to speak to your Roosevelt U class on 9/21/04. Our many meetings afterwards were always interesting and fun. RIP my friend.

So very sorry to hear of your family's loss. Bruce was a big part of our family's life. It seemed he, as well as a few others, was always over at our house "waiting" for my brother to
get ready to go out & play sports, hang out or whatever their agenda held for them. I remember your Dad's great sense of fun, humor, zest for life & sometimes "sage" advice for me, his friend's younger sister.
I hadn't seen your dad in a few years but that does not change the amnount of loss I feel for all of you & me.
Rest in peace, Bruce.

I join with so many others who knew Bruce in offering our deepest sympathy on his passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in his passing you can celebrate the end of a very productive life.
The measure of a life well-lived is not in how much money one has or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched. If the outpouring of sympathy on his loss is any indication, and it most certainly is, you can proudly and confidently say that his indeed was a life well-lived.
May you find peace and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by all who knew and loved him.

Bruce,
I can't believe it! We just spoke on Saturday night. You weren't well --the flu we all thought.
You've been an honest, forthright and consoling friend -- one for whom it's natural to get close to. Your heart is one of the "good" ones.
I'll miss you my friend -- but I'll keep talking to you. Listen if you can.
