Brodie Mills Obituary

Brodie Gene Mills 19, of Rattan, passed from this life on Sunday, August 16, 2015. He was born January 22, 1996 in Paris, TX to Lidia Mills. Brodie was a lover of life. He was always fixing on his cars and trucks. He was always on the go with his friends picking up parts for their trucks and always helping out when he could. He enjoyed many things and never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Charles and Jo Mills; Faye Cogburn; Ernest and Trudy Wade; and a uncle, Lloyd Wade. Brodie leaves behind a loving family that includes his mother, Lidia Mills of Rattan; his brothers Robert and Gunnar Hemingway; his sister, Dustie Hemingway; and their dad, Rusty Hemingway; his grandparents, Joey Mills of Antlers, and Lurlene Daniel of Clayton; his aunts and uncles, Frankie Lightfoot of Clearwater, KS; Cheryl and Lewis Goin of Clearwater, KS; Gay Wade of Tenaha, TX; JR and Sylvia Perusse of Newalla; Shane and Mary Wright of Jacksonville, TX. Brodie has many cousins and other relatives that will miss him dearly. Family night was held Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Burkhart Funeral Service of Antlers. Services were held 10 o'clock a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Burkhart Funeral Service Chapel of Antlers with Donny Day officiating. Interment followed at Cloudy Cemetery under the direction of Burkhart Funeral Service of Antlers.
