Richards, Brigid M. 88, of Lake Bluff and formerly Waukegan, passed away on September 7, 2014. Born in The Maudlins, New Ross, County Wexford, Ireland, immigrated to the United States in 1949. Brigid was a well-known Irish Step Dancer who won many awards. Beloved wife of 57 years to Herbert A. Richards; cherished mother of James, Michael and Noreen (Jon Grand) Richards; loved sister of Nan and James Dalton and the late Michael, Peg, Molly, Lizzy, Nora, and Willy; fond aunt to numerous nieces and nephews across the world. Funeral mass at 12:30 p.m., Friday, September 12 at the Church of St. Mary, 175 E. Illinois Rd., Lake Forest.
