Bob Bodell Obituary

Bodell, Bob Age 43 of Bolingbrook, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away August 31, 2017. Born December 3, 1973 in Berwyn, Robert Michael is a son of Leonard Frank "Butch" Bodell, Sr. and the late Mary (Brady) Bodell. He was raised in Chicago and was a 1992 graduate of St. Rita High School. Bob worked as a laborer in concrete construction, and coached baseball. He will be remembered for his love of playing softball, fishing, and cars. Survivors include his father Butch Bodell, Sr. of Wilmington; children: Chris Bodell of Yorkville, Katie Bodell of New Lenox and David Underdonk and Joey Bodell, both of Bolingbrook; his former companion and the mother of David and Joey, Trina Underdonk of Bolingbrook; brother and sisters: Brenda Tagler of Oak Lawn, Leonard, Jr. "Butch" (Donna) Bodell of Plainfield and his twin Barbara (Richard) Clemens of Chicago; nieces and nephews: Dominick Tagler, Ryan Clemens, Justin Bodell, Sean Clemens, Jeremy Bodell, Claire Clemens and Gregory Tagler, and several aunts and uncles. Bob was preceded in death by his mother on December 22, 2016. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until time of funeral service 8:00 p.m. at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 E.
