Beverly Cowan Obituary

Cowan, Beverly L. (nee Myers), 73, of Schaumburg, born March 8, 1930 in Battle Creek, MI. Passed away January 1, 2004, in Hoffman Estates, IL. Beloved wife of Kenneth D. Cowan, whom she married September 11, 1948, loving mother of Mark (Deborah) Cowan, Todd Cowan, Alison Cowan and the late Catherine Cowan, cherished grandmother of Katie (Ben) Covington, Laura Cowan and Justin Cowan, dear sister of the late Kenneth Myers. Beverly was a 1948 graduate of Battle Crook Central High School and worked for Michigan Bell for three years. She was President of the Officer's Wives Club and Chairman of Red Cross Volunteers. Beverly was a volunteer at Post Medical Clinic and organized and established the first "Pantry" for assisting families of new arrivals and departures. Beverly received a Letter of Commendation from General Bruce C. Clark, USAEUR Commander. Visitation Tuesday, from 3 p.m. until time of services at 7:30 p.m. For Info: 847-882-5580.
