Bernstein, Beverly (nee Friedman), 92, beloved wife of Victor for 48 years; cherished mother of Howard L. (Lenore) and the late Richard (Maureen); loving grandmother of Amy Bernstein, Dale Bernstein, Susan (Robert) Haggard, Jeremy (Yuki) Bernstein and Gary (Lyssa) Bernstein and great-grandmother of four. Chapel service Monday, 2:30 p.m., at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Center for Handicapped Children, 5104 W. Belmont, Chicago, IL, 60641. For info: 847-255-3520

I am so glad that I was able to spend time with Beverly who was so kind and helpful with filling in the family tree.

Maureen and family, I'm so sorry I can't be with you today but you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Beverly gave us a lot of laughs over the years and I'll always remember seeing her and Richard in the truck with the dogs going for a little drive like all the way to Braidwood or Morris.
