Beverlee Mozer Obituary
Mozer, Beverlee 77, passed away on April 24, 2009, devoted mother of Jordan, Gary and Pamela, mother-in-law of Karen, Deborah and Jerry, grandmother of Eliza, Chloe, Isabel, Phillip, Joanie and Teddy, loving aunt of Stefan and Lisa and great aunt of Justin and Marisa, pre-deceased by loving husband, Dr. Phillip Mozer, and 2nd husband Walter Rothbard. An accomplished artist and businesswoman, Beverlee worked her way from commercial illustrator to advertising executive in the late 1950's when there were few women in the field. She was a successful painter and sculptor in the sixties and seventies. After the death of her first husband she developed a chain of 8 Forms and Faces luxury fashion boutiques. In the between 1986 - 2006 she was the executive vice president and COO for Jordan Mozer & Associates, Limited, responsible for designing restaurants, shops and hotels and manufacturing furnishing designs worldwide. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. Services will be held at Chicago Sinai Congregation, 15 W. Delaware Place, Chicago on Monday, at 11:00 a.m. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. We are eternally grateful to Bev for reconnecting the US and UK branches of the family about 40 years ago. Since then our lives have been enriched by the contacts with our cousins and we believe that part of Bev's legacy will be the enduring links down the generations. However, we remember Bev not only as a family member but also as a dear friend, full of warmth, generosity, humour and kindness. She will live on in our hearts and through many happy memories.

Since then, our lives have been enriched by the contacts with our cousins and we feel sure that part of Bev's legacy will be the enduring links through the generations. However, our affection for Bev is not just as a family member, but also as a real friend. We treasure her warmth, generosity, humour and kindmess and she will live on in our hearts and in many happy memories.

Dear Jordon,Pam,Gary...
Joan Fox called us and told us the sad news about your mother. She was a good friend.The last time we saw her was at Eunice's birthday party and had a nice conversation about the days when you lived across the street on Central Avenue. We have two pieces of her artwork and enjoy looking at it every day. They are in very prominent places in our home. One is a statue made out of honeycomb rock of which was modeled after your dad and the other is a painting of a young girl. Millie also recalls the happy days when she worked at Forms Faces.
Our love to you and your families....
She will be missed.

Dear Jordy, Pam, Gary and families,
You are in my thoughts during this sad time. Beverlee was an independent, strong woman at a time when women weren't supposed to be and she served as a role model for many. She was also a creative and talented person.Best of all she was a friend I valued and enjoyed.With good friends it doesn't seem to matter that there are sometimes long gaps between visits. When you see each other you just pick up where you left off like it was yesterday. She will be missed - most of all by all of you. I hope it helps to know that others care and cherish their shared memories. Ron joins me in sending our condolences and love.
