Betty Sauls Obituary

Sauls, Betty Jean (NEE) Gibson Age 77. Passed away in Valparaiso, IN. Betty was formally of Dallas and Hillsboro, TX. She was born Feb. 13, 1931 in Monroe, LA to Marvin and Clara (Warren). On Nov. 8, 1951, she married Edward B. Sauls who preceded her in death in 2005. Survivors include their daughter, Pat Haas of Valparaiso, IN; two grandchildren, Stacie Ruth of Rolling Prairie, IN and Jamie Ruth of Houston, TX; one great-grandchild, Jazmine; sisters, Jeneane Brown, Bobby Cox; brothers, Marvin and Jerry Gibson and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty moved from Dallas to Hillsboro in 1995. She and Ed were very active at Walnut Street Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Very special thanks to the staff of Whispering Pines Nursing Home in Valparaiso, IN for their excellent care the last two years. Service will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, January 23, 2009 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Walnut Street Baptist Church, Hillsboro, TX or VNA Hospice of Porter County, 501 Marquette St., Valparaiso, IN.
