Visitation will be from 4-8PM, Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Brady-Gill Funeral Home in Evergreen Park, IL. Betty J. Melvin was born August 27, 1927, to Stanley and Caroline Dirkis. She worked as a bookkeeper at Revere Printing. Betty is survived by her two sons, Michael Melvin (Edythe) of Reno, NV and David Melvin of Lakeview, AR; daughter-inlaw, Diane Melvin of Chicago, IL; and grandchildren, John, Jennifer and Joseph Melvin of Chicago, IL and Elizabeth Melvin of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Edward Patrick and Steven James Melvin. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
