Betty Lochen Obituary

Lochen, Betty Jean Wasley 83, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, died November 27th at a local hospital. Mrs. Lochen was born November 17, 1919, in Park Ridge, IL. An avid golfer, she was also a long time parishioner and choir member at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church. While a resident of Hot Springs Village for 10 years, Mrs. Lochen was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mrs. Lochen was a graduate of Main High School in Park Ridge and attended Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA. She is survived by her three sons, Stephen (Barbara) of Glenview, IL, Thomas (Kerry) of Foothill Ranch, CA and John (Tara) of Oakland, CA, her grandchildren Jason, Ian, Mitchell, Kelsey and Benjamin, and a brother James Wasley of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. William J. Lochen, who died on February 1, 1996. They were married in San Francisco, CA. On November 19, 1945. Services were held in Hot Springs Village on November 30th for friends and family. A memorial service in Park Ridge, IL is scheduled for Decemeber 7th. Interment will be in Maryhill Cemetery, Niles, IL. Memorial Mass at St. Paul of the Cross, Park Ridge, IL will be at 10:00 a.m. December 7, 2002. Private interment.
