Dear Tom and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your mother was always so kind to me when I would visit. Her stories of the Post Office would keep me in stitches when she would relate them to me.
Living in the same neighborhood for all those years was so enjoyable. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I do wish that I would have known about the wake and funeral sooner than I did, I would have loved to have been there and seen all of you again.
Peace,
Jeanne M

To Betty's family: Betty was a wonderful person and as we all know, a huge Cubs fan. I have known Betty since I was a little kid selling T shirts at Sluggers. Bartending: it was a 7&7, an MGD, or a bloody mary not spicy. I will miss Betty and the long letters she always wrote to me. She will always be in our hearts at Sluggers.

My sincerest condolences are extended to the Kush family. It was a pleasure to have known Betty for the past few years. Even though there was over 50 years' separating us in age, I considered her a true friend. Little did I know that meeting a sassy and spunky 80-yr old. at a Cubs' game would lead to such a wonderful friendship.
My deepest sympathies,
Rebecca A. Vesconte
