Dear Aunt Betty:
As we grew up, you and Uncle Ken, Kap and Tom were always so special to us! Holidays and birthdays were usually spent with you--either at your house or ours in Des Plaines.
Aunt Betty, you were always such a special aunt. I can't ever remember you uttering an unkind word about anyone--negative words were not in your vocabulary.
Aunt Betty, you sponsored me for my confirmation when I was 12, and I took your name, Elizabeth.
There are a lifetime of memories that come flooding back to me. Good memories and happy times that enriched my life, and I hope, yours too.
I'll always love you, and hope you have found everlasting peace and joy. I know you have been reunited with Uncle Ken, the love of your life; I love you both.
Love, Christie

My Aunt Betty, you were more than my Aunt and Godmother, you were one of my Best Friends. I will cherish all the years we had together. All the fun times going out to dinner and how passionate you were about your food and food in general. Your baking, of cookies, bread and cakes, etc. what can I say, was the best. It made it tough to share cookies at Christmas time, as I wanted to hord them all. :) I will cherish all the close times we have had these past months, sharing the girly things and the food channel too!!! I know Suzzie and Kika will miss coming to visit you, but we will continue our theraphy work for others. So much more to say, but you know all of how I feel. Till we meet again, All my love to you and everyone else you are with now. How I miss all of you!!

I will forever cherish the last few times we were able to spend together and the closeness I felt with you. I don't know for sure what the next life brings for us, but I pray that it has you and Grandpa happy together again.
