Betty Joan Wright Obituary
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska, with Betty's son-in-law, Pastor Steve Breazier, officiating. Interment will follow at Oxford Cemetery in Oxford, Nebraska.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the family greeting 6-7:30 p.m.
Betty was born on April 24, 1934, in Cody, Wyoming, the youngest of eight children born to Bruce and Grace (Beam) Luke.
In 1954, Betty married Robert Hawkins. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Steve Hawkins of Greeley; two daughters, Christine Breazier of Table Rock and Julie Hawkins of McCook; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
