Betty Jane Darwit, to all who knew her was first and foremost a warm, sincere, energetic woman whose priorities were her faith and her family. The meticulously dressed and well groomed woman that I called aunt, was my Godmother.
Her love and encouragement was an important part of my childhood.
Uncle Leo, Maribeth, Matt, Barb, Margaret, and Especially Jennifer, thank you. I love you very much.

Dear Mary Beth, Matthew, and My Godchild Jennifer,
Andy Anderson called me today to tell me that your mother went on to heaven. He had read about it in the paper. I am so sorry that I wasn't there to say my last goodbye to your wonderful mom.
She is in the company of her best friend, Auntie RoseMarie. I know that heaven has never had as much laughter and happiness as it does now that they are together, laughing about all of the fun that we had together.
Your mom was as angel on earth. She's in the company of them in heaven.
Love, Uncle Peter
