Betty, I will miss you so much, especially your Christmas letters that brought me up to date on all the kids and the new arrivals in the family. We had so much fun bowling and going out to breakfast afterwards and bunco til all hours. I was in Chicago recently and was thinking about you. My sympathies to your family. May God keep you forever in his loving arms.

Every time I eat tomato soup, I think about MaMa Baity, my mother from my other brothers and sisters. I still see her hanging out her laundry on Justine, I see her working the concession stand at Little League, I see her shaking her rugs, walking out all dressed up on Boni's wedding day, and walking past my house to coffee clutch with Ruth Weaver. My dad always called it "the coffee convention". And yes I saw her dish out her form of discipline. I saw her frantic when Nor took out a power pole on 147th & Justine, I saw her worry when Dennis disappeared and Jack went in the service. I saw her joy at your weddings and pride in her grand children. There was bowling league, bunco club, craft shows in her basement in New Lenox. She was my Avon Lady! We shared many cups of coffee in New Lenox, where she talked about each of you with me. She loved each one of you equally and was proud of each of you equally. I share your grief. She will always be my mama Baity. All my love to each of you. Debbie Sue

Although your light has gone out, Mom, it will forever burn brightly in our hearts. We need not see you to know you are with us and watching as we continue our lives. We know your prescence will be felt by us, always, as will your love. We already miss you, terribly, and hope you can feel our love, as we do yours. We love you, Mom, be at peace.
