Please accept these belated condolence wishes. When I called to invite Betsy to our meeting at LGH, and learned that she was ill, my prayers and hopes were for her to overcome this setback. I didn't find out until too late that she passed on. I was so saddened to learn this!

Betsy and all of you went through so many battles these past years, so many ups and downs as she struggled to get well. In the process, I got the priviledge of knowing a sweet, wonderful, caring person to whom I felt very close. She could always make me laugh, and was so engaging in our group meetings that everyone loved her.

I am lucky enough to have some brand new Dr. Suess books in my office thanks to Betsy! She dedicated them to me with her own personal notes and I will think of her with fondness everytime I use them. I want to send all of you who were close to this special lady wishes for comfort, peace and strength.

Love, Marion Mito

I haven't seen

Betsy in over 2+ decades & when I did know her, it was only for a year or 2 when we worked together at a spa on Mich. Av. I only know of her passing from seeing it in the SunTimes. I knew it was she, as I also got to meet her sister Kathy (who made me a great piece of art I wish I still had!) & her dad (who came by to help us once when our boss made us all cry!) Tho it was long ago & a short spell of time, I have so many fun memories of Betsy that I just wanted to extend my sincere sympathies. She was such a little cutie.

Dear Roberta, Jerry and Kathy:

While I did not know Betsy, I had the rare honor of meeting Jerry via my late father, Bob Mann, who for many years served as Treasurer of the Red Cloud Athletic Association. Jerry gave of himself often to help others and now it's our turn to lend comfort and support to he and his family.

It is my hope that you will be able to draw upon the many happy memories of Betsy; those which will bring smiles to your faces.

As a former employee of both the Washington Redskins and New Orleans Saints, I know that many in the National Football League family and friends across the country extend their deepest condolences at this time.
