Bert E. Conner, 82 of Payson, Arizona passed away at the Payson Care Center on Monday, July 25, 2016 of complications due to Alzheimer's.
Born on August 18, 1933 in Owensboro, KY to B.E. and Lucille (French) Conner. Bert served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Oriskany, and afterward, enjoyed a 30-year career with the U.S. Forest Service (retiring on the Willamette in 1986).
Bert is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Norma; daughter Kerri Pajutee (Tarmo); sons, Michael and Jeff Conner, grandson, Nathan Pajutee.
Burial August 2nd at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona - Cave Creek.
