"I'll always remember Mrs. Leary as my 6th grade teacher along with Mrs. Brooks. And my favorite memory is how she had all students memorize Casey at the Bat by heart and then recite it back to her."

My husband Jim and I both had Mrs. Leary in 4th grade back in 1966. She was one of my favorite teachers at Fisher, with her lovely smile and her beautiful eyes. She was the kindest teacher I ever knew. I remember when she brought her music box that played "Happy Birthday" to school to show us. She made the lesson magical that day! I am so sorry for your loss, Leary family. God bless you.
