Bernadette was one of the sweetest people I ever met in my life. I have said this often, she comes from a family that has a lot of love between them. Most people don't know what a loving family Bernadette was fortunate to be a part of, but I do. They have given that same love to me over the years. I love you Bernie and I am glad that you are home with the Lord, with no more worries or pains. I miss the advice you gave me over the years, but I will try to remember all of the things you shared with me. We will take care of Grandma, don't worry about her.

Love, your sister Rose Cottoms

Cousin Delores;

Our prayers and deepest sympathy are extended to you during this most difficult time. I know Bernadette fought a good fight as she ran her course and kept the faith, but another angel was needed in heaven. I will always remember her childhood smiles of happiness. Bernadette will never be forgotten, those we love remain with us, for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one is gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart. For as long as there are memories, they will live on in the heart. May peace and rest now be hers forever with comfort and mercy for those who deeply miss her.

I went to school with Bernadette we graduated the same year. She was a really great friend,Someone to talk to when you needed to vent about all the peer pressure that presented itself all thru high school. We lost touch after graduation, but I often think of her when I sometimes go thru my senior book. She wrote in my book " To a wild and crazy girl don't ever forget me" I wont ever forget her for she was a great lady.
