Babler, Berenice A. (nee Brunk), age 89, passed May 10th, after a long illness, beloved wife of the late Dr. Bernard J. Babler, loving mother of Susan (Robert) Powers, Dr. James, Maribeth and Pamela, cherished grandmother of Robert Jr. (Catherine), Michael, Stephen (Kelly) and James, fond great-grandmother of Liam, Laura and Ryan, dear sister of Helen, Rosalee and Virginia. Funeral Friday, 9:30 a.m., from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., to St. Margaret Mary Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, from 4 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, 1140 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL, 60607 or the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago, 7430 N. Ridge Blvd., Chicago, IL, 60645, would be appreciated. 773-736-3833
