McIver, Benjamin K. age 82, Navy Veteran of WWII, beloved husband of the late Valerie, devoted father of Lenore McIver, Ron (Diane) and the late Thomas, loving grandfather of Joy (Tim) Farber, Sarah McIver, Ryan McIver and great-grandfather of Thomas Farber. 31 years of service with Spiegel Co., Chicago. Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m., at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 S. Southwest Hwy. (7700W), Palos Hills. Funeral Saturday, 9 a.m., from the funeral home to Sacred Heart Church for 10 a.m., Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Fr.
