Beatrice Sevcik Obituary

Sevcik, Beatrice M. Born September 24, 1931, passed May 22, 2014 in Scottsdale, AZ. She was born in Chicago, IL, to parents Joseph and Marie (Sobieski) Rekus. Graduated from Resurrection High School, class of 1949. Married 1951 to Joseph F. Sevcik (deceased 1993). After retirement from Stanley Tulchin & Associates, she enjoyed many years doing water exercise at the neighborhood YMCA in Glendale Heights, and doing handcrafts, knitting, crocheting, playing cards and just socializing with friends. She leaves behind sister, Lorraine Bielat; daughter, Norine Tracy; sons, James (Judy), Bruce (Vicky), Gregory (Blanca), and Raymond (Betty); 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Mass will be held on Saturday, June 14, 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Parish, 1555 Glen Ellyn Rd., Glendale Heights, IL with a gathering period starting at 9:30 a.m. Ashes will be laid at Maryhill Cemetery, Niles, IL following the mass. Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
