Dear Grandpa, I knew this day would come where I would have to say Goodbye, so I've been preparing myself to handle this most difficult time. I've been filling my heart and mind daily with many great memories of our time together. I will always remember your strong work ethic, your sense of family and your creative way of fixing things around the house. I smile and chuckle as that last little bit is funny. You always did have a unique way of putting things together, using what you had on hand, not wasting a thing. Perhaps not always the best way but it was your way, which I thought was creative. I will continue to "Keep Smiling" as you would frequently tell us for I know you lived a good, prosperous and meaningful life. Please know that there is this emptiness in me. I miss you and love you dearly. I know you are in a better place but I wish that place was here with me. Good Bye Grandpa. I LOVE YOU!
