Wechet (nee Prochaska); beloved wife of Paul Wechet; dear sister of Rich Prochaska and Mary Ellen (Robert) Costner; devoted daughter of the late Robert and Dolores Prochaska; dear aunt of Kristen Stack, Lisa (Eric) Brislane and Kimberly Costner; loving great aunt and cousin to many. Barbara was a dedicated teacher in Burbank for 36 years. Visitation Wednesday 2-8 P.M. Funeral Service 10 A.M. at Lawn Funeral Home 7732 W. 159th St. Orland Park, IL 60462. I went to St. Joseph's & St. Anne' elementary school in the late 40's and 50's. She was popular yet quietly reserved. Her mother was a Girl Scout leader & later a Sea Scout leader where I joined in my senior year in High School. I did contact Barbabara once when she was still teaching. Because I was shy growing up, I didn't get to know her as well as I wished I could.
