Hi Barbara,
Tomorrow will be the one year date of your passing. I know you are up there keeping tabs on all of us and helping others up there with you. Just a brief note to let you know you are missed and in my thoughts. Your family and I went to Wrigley Field this summer and placed you throughout the ballpark as was your wish. Now you will forever be tied to Wrigley Field! It was a hard day for all but good to share memories of you with your family.

See you when I get there. Miss you!

Love Linda.

Hi Bud, I have missed you much but never so much as 2/21/11, my birthday. You have taken me out for dinner every birthday for over 20 years. I miss those dinners. Mom, passed away 1/6/11 after taking a bad fall. I hope you two are getting to know each other better up there and having a great time. Please take care of Mom!

Cubs season approaching as I am sure you are aware. Wont be the same without you and Ronnie Santo to share in the wins and dreaded losses. I put all the Cubs Christmas ornaments that you gave me over the years in a courio cabinet on display over the holidays. Thanks for the memories. Talk to you soon.

I just learned of Barb's passing. I would like to express my feelings of gratutute for having known Barb for 5 years when we worked together at Pru. She was my first boss and I have many fond memories of sharing laughs at work, bowling and parties after hours. She was a diamond and I know she is in a better place, even though it is our loss that she is no longer here with us.

I just heard about the tragic news or I would have come to Barb's funeral. I met Barb as a fellow arbitrator for Arbitration Forums over 20 years ago. She was a bright, friendly person whom I admired greatly and tried to emulate. I am proud to call her my friend. I am very saddened by her passing and will keep Barb & her family in my prayers.

I knew from the time we attended Notre Dame High School and I voted for Barb as secretary of student council based on her creative slogan "Let Minetz take your Minutes" that she was special. I can't believe our lives were connected again at Prudential. I will miss Barb so much. She was the life of the party and a mentor to so many. She was one of the most kind and thoughtful people around. I thank God for the gift of her friendship for so many years. I will think of her often, especially when attending Cubs Games.

Barbara was my first manager who encouraged and supported me during my first few years at Liberty. She really cared about everyone she touched and everyone loved her positive attitude. She will be greatly missed. She was a one of a kind woman who I am blessed to have known. I aspire to one day be the great person she was and hope that I am able to influence others in the way she has influenced me.

Barbara was my best friend in high school; we met in 1967! She and I were often confused by faculty or other students - we loved that. Barbara stood up to my wedding and I stood up for her first wedding to Paul. We have stayed friends over these 43 years, enjoying an occasional poker game or dinner and a movie together. My heart is filled with grief at Barbara's passing.

Sadly, I am in Europe and will not be able to attend the services. I am sending a virtual hug to all of you. My deepest sympathies go out to Karen, Bob and Paul as well as the rest of the family and her dear friends. What a delightful woman Barbara was who now knows what Heaven is all about. She'll keep her new angel friends busy to help watch over her family.

This is so very sad. Our friend, 'Ben' as we called her, should have had a lot more time to be with her family and friends. Actually, she just should have had a lot more time to enjoy life and not die so soon. It's hard to believe that we can't see her anymore.

It's been so many years since I was childhood friends with Barb, but we shared some great times back then. We spent a lot of our time together and talking about girly things and such, so when we were together she would walk me home and I would walk her home and on and on.One of my favorite and most fun times of being with Barb was when her Mom received a big heart filled with chocolates from her Dad for Valentines Day and we sat on the floor in the living room and pushed our fingernails in the back of each cream candy until we found which ones we liked. I remember Mrs. Minetz did not like that at all. We were all giggly for a couple hours from the chocolate until her mom got a hold of us and we realized it was not a good thing to poke at all those chocolates! I'm happy to have known Barb and grown up with her. My deepest sympathies are extended to Paul,Robert, Karen and all of Barb's friends and extended family that she has been close to.

Barbara,
I can not believe you are gone!! I already miss you deeply!!! One of the many things I will remember are your "Aunt Peg Stories". My favorite one was the time her assisted living facility was going to have a fashion show and she asked you to be in it with her. You were going shopping to pick out your outfit. Carol Jaques and I were cracking up and wanted to know where the show was so we could go and if not we wanted pictures. Your aunt ended up getting sick so she could not make the show.(that was sad) You were very good to your aunt and I could tell by the stories you told you really loved her!!! There were so many stories and laughter. You were so fun to be around in everything you did. I am so going to miss you on football sundays. We would text back and forth about our football teams, misery loves company. I keep expecting to see an e-mail from you and then realize you are really gone. You have so many friends that have adored and enjoyed being around you. Even though you may have met a lot of your friends at work, your friendship continued outside of work. You are a wonderful, enjoyable, witty lady and will be greatly missed by all you know you!!! My deepest sympathy to your family!!!

Barbara - I just can't believe the news. I am grateful for your friendship through the years. I will always remember my days with Prudential fondly.
