I got to know Barb when she worked with us in Philadelphia. She was always upbeat, cheerful and made all our lives richer. Those of us here who knew Barb are all deeply saddened. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

I was saddened to read of Barb's passing. We were close friends at Kelly HS and spent many of our weekends and evenings at baseball and football games and just hanging out. What a great time that was! I somehow knew her personality and heart would light up so many people's lives, as is evident in this guest book. My prayers are with her family. She was truly a joy to know.

Be happy Barb... just as you always were in this life.

When Barb first came back from Phili, the girls met regularly for lunch. She never failed to ask me how I was feeling and wanted to listen to my petty complaints. Her compassion and concern for other people never ceased to amaze me. What a beautiful woman she was. Despite her cancer, her elegance and humor never faded. (Her bag jokes were great!) I will miss her.

I really got to know Barb when I joined the A&CS IT Group in Morton in 1996. She was a wonderful employee who became a friend of my wife and I. We all ended up in Philadelphia for a while and we have many fond memories of times spent together.

Barb lived life to the fullest and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. We'll miss her.

I have known Barb for over 25 years and was always amazed at the way she could light up a room with her personality. We shared the same birthday and Barb would never forget to send me a birthday card every year. She was a great friend and I will miss her greatly.

My memory of my former Morton co-worker Barbara Putlak, will always be one of a friendly, warm-hearted, helpful and intelligent person. Her present and her smiles, at work went a long way in creating a pleasant feeling in the department. It was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to know and work with her.

I got to know Barb when I worked as a programmer at Morton International in Danvers, MA. We became very friendly. She would travel east on occasion, and I would occasionally travel west. We even went on a couple of business trips together.

Barb was a great lady, very down to earth, not pretentious in the slightest. I enjoyed her sense of humor and her outlook on life. I will miss her.

To her remaining family, please accept my heartfelt condolences; I am truly saddened.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to express my thoughts.
