Nemerovski, Barbara (nee Grusin), loving wife of Allen, beloved mother of Steve (Nancy) Nemerovski, Hollis (James) Budd, Judith (Grant) Flink, and Alyssa (Tom) Booko, devoted grandmother of Lisa, Lauren, and Elizabeth Nemerovski, Erin and Elizabeth Budd, Scot, Matthew, and Rachel Flink, and Samantha Booko, adored sister of Howard (June) Grusin. Services Monday, 1 p.m., at West Suburban Har Zion Synagogue, 1040 N. Harlem Ave., River Forest, IL. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Info. Barbara was always a warm presence during our many family events when I was a child. I have vivid memories of Barbara and her growing family, with so many girls, and Steven.
When Barbara first met John's wife, she said, "I never thought I'd meet another Barbara Nemerovski." Barbie replied, "You haven't, because my last name is Adler. You're still the ONLY one!"
We send our love and sympathies from Arizona, to Allen and your entire family.
