Barbara E. Berry, 77, of Macungie, died on Monday, September 29, 2008 in the Abramson Center for Jewish Life in North Wales, PA. She was the wife of Maurice Berry for the past 57 years. Born in Canton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Max and Esther (Rosenstein) Goldberg. She received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Denver in 1952 and her Master's Degree from So. Connecticut State College in 1958. She was a resident of the Lehigh Valley since 1960 and a member of Temple Beth El, Allentown. She was employed as a school teacher in New Haven, CT, Bethlehem School District, East Stroudsburg University and Allentown Hospital School of Nursing. Survivors loving husband; loving children, Susan Miller and her husband Elliot, and Andy Berry and his wife Jolie; beloved grandchildren, Max, Ryan, Zoe, Jillian and Braydan; She was preceded in death by grandsons, Eli and Jordan Miller. Services: 1 p.m. Thursday, Temple Beth El, 1305 Springhouse Road, Allentown, PA. Interment in Beth El Memorial Park, Whitehall, PA. Shiva will be observed on Thursday evening in the home of Maurice Berry and October 4th thru 7th in the home of Susan and Elliot Miller.
