"Mark" Bennett "Mark" Rasar, 66, of Palos Heights, formerly of Peoria, beloved husband for 30 years of Ave Marie (nee Cranley), loving and dedicated father of Margaret, Mark Bennett, James (Jeannie) Pecora, Therese Carlson, Mary Anne (Matt) Keane and Ave Marie (Dino) Costa, proud "Papa" of Caleb, Elizabeth, Matthew, Allison, Daniel and Margaret Mary, dear son of Jean and the late Bennett Rasar, devoted brother of Linda (Orville) Frank and brother-in-law of John (Rose) Cranley, Mary Anne (Gerald) Moriarty, Margaret (John) Lafferty and Donald (Mary) Cranley, "Uncle Mark" was also loved by 23 nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, 1 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday, 9:15 a.m., from the John Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 7020 W. 127th St., Palos Heights, to St. Alexander Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre.
