Audrey Montoya Obituary

Montoya, Audrey Jeanne (nee Daniels), 80, of Crete, IL, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2004 at her daughter's home in Lawrenceville, GA, she was a loving mother and caring person. Audrey had been a resident of Jasper County, and graduated from Remington H.S. with the Class of 1941. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII as a nurse. Survivors include two daughters, Celeste (Terrance) Schmechel of Lawrenceville, GA and Teresa Montoya of Dacula, GA, and two sons, James C. of Snellville, Ga and Guy G. of Crete, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret (nee Hurley) Daniels, her husband James R. Montoya; two brothers, John and Clarence and three sisters, Mildred, Frances and Florence. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 10 until time of service, 12 p.m. at Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, (2 blocks west of Mannheim Rd.) Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
