Barounes, Athena "Edna" (nee Chrisos), beloved wife of the late Peter, beloved mother of George (Carol) and Maria (Gerry) Harvey, loving grandmother of Peter Barounes, Stefani (Jeffrey) Toth, and Janell (Andrew) Price-Smith, proud great-grandmother of Caroline and Isabella Barounes, and Lauryn Toth, dear sister of Helen (late Cliff) Thompson, Georgia Chrisos and the late Dr. Sam (Lydia) Chrisos, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was a 60 year life member of Daughters of Penelope Medea Chapter #128. Funeral Friday, 9:15 a.m. from Hills Funeral Home, Ltd. 10201 S. Roberts Rd. (8000W), Palos Hills to S.S. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church for Services at 10:00 a.m. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m. Info. 708-598-5880. May Her Memory Be Eternal.
