Still think of you everyday.

Well, where do I start? It has been a year and I have thought of you every day for 365 days and will continue to think about you every day. Everything around me reminds me of you because you were a very special person in my life ... my best friend. I don't want there to ever come a day when I don't think of you because I always want to remember the good times we had and the happiness you brought to so many people. I believe there are angels among us and you are one of them. I miss you and I always will.

Ashlei I am back to my old tricks, taking that trip to Mooresville (now Huntsville) like we did (you, your mom, your Aunt Faye, and I). Please have some of your angels friends (I am sure you have many) to send out some extra prayers so that hopefully, I will be successful this time. I think of you often, but definitely each time I take the trip. I miss you crazy laugh, silly jokes, and your beautiful smile that would make the trip not seem so long. I know that you are no longer with me in body; but you will always be alive in my heart. I will never forget you. You were a very special person to me.

I was just here thinking about Ashlei. It has been a year now and I just miss seeing her. Her warm smile her laugh.I will never forget her.You were one of a kind and I know the angel's are just loving you as much as all of us do still.Miss ya girl!!!

I had the priviledge of knowing Ashlei. She was truly a unique person. I can only imagine even after several months the pain that you sense and feel. You are in my heart and prayers. As today was to be your and Mike's wedding day, we send you our love in spirit. We thank you, Ashlei, for sharing a part of your life with Mike and loving him for your truly loves you. We were also blessed to have you in our lives, and you will always have a special place in our hearts as our sister-to-be.

Mike, Darlene, Dee, Stephen, Lynn, Ryan & Victoria - I know the holidays have been rough for you all. I have thought of you often and wished that I could take away your pain. I miss Ashlei, and I know you all do, too. She brought such joy and love to all that knew her, we need to pass that joy and love on to everyone around us. I know she is looking down on us all, watching over us and would not want us to be sad. We need to rejoice for the time we had with her and try to remember she is in a better place now.

Ashlei, Today I finished with the wrapping of the gifts. I dont care for Christmas,You arent here. I did do you a tree for your resting place,you would like it, it has dragonflies and purple bows. I know you are happy now making new people laugh.I miss you and love you just as much as the first time I held you.May God be with you.

Many people will walk in and out of your life but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart. I definitely have footprints in my heart because Ashlei was one of the best friends that I could ever have. I miss her (more than words can express). I will treasure all of the memories that I have.

A person is extremely blessed to ever find a 'true' friend in life. I found that in Ashlei. She was so loyal and never failed to make me laugh. I can't even begin to express the sadness I feel. My life, along with many others, has been changed forever.

Words cannot express how much Ashlei meant to me. She was always there for me - day or night. I guess you could say that I am selfish because I wanted her to be here with me and I was not ready to let her go. I miss her smile and her bubbly personality and I am so thankful that we were and always will be friends. The memories will always be there and Ashlei will always be with me.

Darlene, Dee, Mike, Stephen and Lynn & all the family - During this time of sadness and loss, please remember how much Ashlei touched our lives, our hearts and our spirits. I started at CMS April 2001 in the bench program and a wide-eyed, beautiful, smily faced girl named Ashlei was in my class. Not a day went by that she didn't make us laugh and made us all feel welcome. She was a joy to know and I came to love her like someone I had known all my life. She was a caring person with a heart of gold and she will be dearly missed. Even though she was only on this earth for a short period of time, she made such a difference to the people she met, she will never be forgotten. If we can only be half the person that Ashlei was, the earth will be a better place, all because of her. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. May God give each of you the peace you need to get through this time of grief.



Ashlei - Girl, I'm going to miss you terribly. Now I have no one to pick on for their spelling faux pas' !!!

I worked with Ashlei at CMS, and have kept in constant contact with her since my leaving the company. I will miss Ashlei, as I know everyone will. Where do I begin. Ash was such a character. She was caring, loving, loyal, funny, and carefree. You could always count on her. Like her Subway story with her "stinky black sandals" floating away during a gully washer. I can just see her now, chasing that stupid sandal in the pouring down rain.
