To my cousin:
It is hard to believe that you've been gone for a year. I think about you all the time. I hope you knew while you were here how much we all loved you, and still love you. From time to time I see a boy your age with your eyes or your walk and I think for a second about how happy everyone would be if I found you. And then the reality sets in that you are not here.
Always know that your Mom and Dad, your sister, your brother and your son are taken care of. Little Arthur is a spitting image of you and it is comforting to know that part of you is still with us and so alive (SO smart too.)
You will always be my loving, sweet, and caring big cousin and I miss you like crazy. Thank you for the lifetime of memories while you were here. Love you.

Dear cousin...I miss you so much. You were like one of my brothers. I have tried to write in this a dozen times...it will be a year to the day we lost you tomorrow and I think it's about time. I would give anything to see you again and I hope you know just how much I miss and love you. I know that your pain is gone and that you are watching over all of us. I will see you at the end. I love you with all of my heart Arthur.

Roughly a year later..I went to see you at the cemetery on sunday..I am forever seeing young men on the street that resemble you..I always do a double take and my heart starts pounding..when I am at the cemetery, that is the only time I realize that im not going to see you on the street..or expect to see you to walk through the door at a family party. It's a year later..and sadly, the grief and heartbreak on your mom and dad's faces is just as apparent as Nov.24th of last year. And Amy..who always struck me as so rough and tough..was devastated beyond belief..I talk to her regularly now and she continues to mourn and misses you everyday.I think many of us love you more than you ever imagined. I pray that you understand that now, Art. Well, as your memorial marker states..You are always in our hearts.

I loved having Arthur in my class; both in third grade and in sixth. He was hilarious! He did a presentation once about the three stooges- with his friends Brian and Billy. I am so sorry for your loss-He will always be remembered for his passion for life- Mary Forstall

I remember the first time I met you... Freshmen year. I remember the last time I saw you. More importantly, I remember everything in between. It's so hard to put those memories behind me. If I try... I can still hear your laugh exactly how you laughed... I knew you in my own different way.

I just want to thank you for all the life lessons we shared together. I can never say I experienced Vegas quite the way we did. You were my bestfriend for a long time. Sometimes my memories with you were rough... but I wouldn't trade them for anything in the whole wide world.

I still have vivid dreams about you, and I awake to a harsh reality. I wish more than anything that you could come back. I

My condolences go out to anyone that was privledged enough to have you in their lives....

My beautiful nephew, it has taken me a long time to write in this-my pain is so great in losing you. I hope you know how much I love you. All of us, especially Scott feel your loss so much. My hope is that you are reading this as I write so that you know how much you are thought of and missed. Even though I know you are in a better place, I still want you back. I pray every day for your mom who is in so much pain it is almost unbearable. and for your dad too, whose agony is so great. I promise you we will always be there for Erin and James, and especially for your beautiful son. He is so loved by all of us. You will be in our hearts forever Arthur. You were taken too soon. I love you
