Cohen, Arnold Aaron "Babe" of Glencoe, IL since 1977 and of Winnetka, IL from 1949-1977, born Chicago, IL, May 19, 1919, died Highland Park, IL, May 11, 2005; beloved husband since December 12, 1943 (at the Belden Stratford Hotel, Chicago, IL), of Evelyn Ruth (nee Cohen); loving father of Marlene Ann Cohen (Arnold Bernard Kaber, Ph.D.) of Dallas, TX, and Stuart Lee (Rolly Susan, nee Stein) Cohen of Highland Park, IL; devoted grandfather "Papa" of Carly Ruth and Stacy Michelle Kaber, and Harris Matthew and Abra Beth Cohen; cherished brother of Jerome "Jerry" (Gertrude "Gert", nee Sobel, Mantell, and the late Muriel, nee Lichtenstein) Conn, Bernard (Joanne Carol, nee Nobilio, and the late Elaine Shirley, nee Geller) Kahn, Maxine (Michael) Topper, and the late Fay (the late Eugene "Gene") Epstein; devoted son of the late Samuel A. Cohen a/k/a Sam Kahn and Anna Chimerofsky Cohen of Chicago, IL and Union Pier, MI; caring stepson of the late Pearl Buckner Kahn; dedicated son-in-law of the late Mayme Burton Cohen; fond brother-in-law of the late William (Virginia, nee Carlson, and the late Byrde, nee Levy) Coleman and the late Marvin Henry (Lillian, nee Goodman, Sager and the late Charlotte Ruth, nee Klein) Coleman; dear uncle, great-uncle, and great-great-uncle of many. Awarded Bronze Star Medal for heroic achievement in February 1945 during World War II.
