Arnita THOMPSON Obituary

Arnita Wilson Thompson, 76, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013. She was a member of Vinton Baptist Church and was predeceased by her mother, Clara Wilson; father, Fuqua Wilson; brother, Delbert Wilson; sisters, Loretta Jannay and Gloria Short. Surviving family includes her husband of 57 years, Colonel Thompson; daughter, Rhonda Amos; son, Mark Thompson; sisters, Irene Gueill, Doris Preston and Beatrice Webber; brother, Robert Wilson; grandchildren, Ashley Thompson, Josh Amos and Ben Amos; great-grandchild, Caleb Moody; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013, at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
